Totally falsified data by Desai et al. helped destroy a drug that would have helped COVID patients. It also would have nullified the EUA for the poorly tested, unsafe and ineffective experimental gene therapy drugs.

Randomized, double blind controlled studies are referred to as a reason to doubt therapeutic agents like ivermectin, hydroxychloroquin, zinc, and vitamins D and C yet the experimental gene therapy drugs used virtually untested Process 2 modRNA that had no published preclinical testing or phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical testing.

Furthermore, the control group of the phase 3 clinical trial (Pollack, et al.) was unblinded after a few months ending the trial that was meant to run for two years. The inventors of BNT162b2 wrote in a 2014 paper that adverse events could be expected during the course of two years.

One final comment concerns informed consent. The Pfizer phase 2/3 trial protocol included strict adherence to the ethical requirement of informing subjects of known and unknown risks associated with these novel gene therapy agents. How and why this requirement was dropped would make an interesting addition to a follow up documentary.
