This is long (1hr) but quite interesting. Presenter has a solid physics & math background, uses seismic data from several nearby stations, comparing it to known nuke events (NORKS), underwater temperature and current data, and underwater topographical mapping to show why it was a mini-nuke and that the shockwave intentionally (via detonation location) was pointed by landforms directly at Kaliningrad…. Seismic data supports that conclusion.

He also presents data on our current nuke inventory and underwater autonomous vehicles - that were a part of BaltOps that year. It’s a pretty convincing presentation - but I’m biased to support it, so….

What he doesn’t show - that I both assumed he would and, by not showing it weakens his presentation, is a radioactive fish catch. But I may not understand that chemistry….
